Human Resource Intern (Summer 2027)

Why is this Role Essential?  

The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team with a variety of initiatives while gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources, including onboarding, benefits, employee engagement, reporting, compliance, and workforce analytics. 

 

What Will You Do?  

• Provides administrative support to Human Resources team for a variety of Human Resources functions (i.e. payroll and benefits, onboarding, culture and engagement). 

• Supports onboarding tasks for all new hires.  

• Assist with the preparation of various human resources department reports. 

• Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc. 

• Assists with the execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, employee recognition events, holiday gatherings, etc. 

• Prepares & audits employee files for compliance with internal policies and in preparation for regulatory surveys. 

• Collects, cleans, and visualizes workforce data to help organizations make strategic decisions. 

• Builds and maintains periodic reports and scorecards for tracking key metrics like turnover, retention, headcount, and recruiting. 

• Completes ad hoc projects in accordance with departmental and organizational needs. 

• Performs other duties as assigned.
